FEATURING Charlene Goldfield, Attorney Advisor, Federal Communications Commission

Charlene Collazo Goldfield, Esq., is currently an Attorney Advisor with the Federal Communications Commission working on issues involving supply chain and national security issues. She also serves as the Young Lawyer’s Division liaison for the American Bar Association’s Cybersecurity Legal Task Force. Previously, Charlene worked at the Department of Justice for the Office of Information Policy working on Freedom of Information Act appeal cases that focused on privacy and law enforcement information. Charlene also served as a law clerk with the District Court of Maryland for Montgomery County and the Superior Court for the District of Columbia. Currently, Charlene teaches several graduate courses for the Department of Public Policy & Administration at Florida International University, including one on administrative law, policy, and emerging technologies.

Charlene is currently an LL.M. student in the National Security and Cybersecurity Law program at George Washington University Law. She earned her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law and graduated cum laude. Charlene did obtain a dual degree in Print Journalism and Political Science from Florida International University.
